This timeline gives a chronological listing of the main events in the life of the fictitious character, Rickon Stark, as shown in the TV Series Game of Thrones.

Before Season 1 Age 0
Rickon Stark was born to Ned and Catelyn Stark.
Season 1 Age 6
After watching their father execute a deserter from the Nightswatch, the Stark family find a litter of five direwolf pups which are given to the children. Rickon Stark named his direwolf Shaggydog.
Season 1 Age 6
King Robert Baratheon and his family arrived at Winterfell. Robert persuaded Ned Stark to become Hand of the King. Ned reluctantly accepted.
Season 1 Age 6
Rickon’s brother, Bran witnessed Jaime and Cersei Lannister having sex in the Tower. Jaime pushed Bran off the wall hoping the fall would kill him. Bran survived but was paralysed and had no memory of what had happened.
Season 1 Age 6
Rickon’s older sisters, Sansa and Arya went with their father to Kings Landing.
Season 1 Age 6
After an assassination attempt on Bran’s life, Rickon’s mother Catelyn left the boys to travel to Kings Landing. Rickon’s brother Robb was left in charge of Winterfell.
Season 1 Age 6
After hearing the news of Ned Stark’s execution, Robb called out the family bannermen and rode south. Rickon and Bran Stark were left in the care of Maester Luwin.
Season 2 Age 7
Rickon had to sit beside Bran while he held court. He heard Bran assign two orphan boys to help a local shepherd.
Season 2 Age 7
Winterfell received news that Torrhen’s Square was under siege. Bran directed Rodrik Cassel to send men to help relieve the siege. Soon afterwards Winterfell was attacked and taken by Theon Greyjoy. He executed Rodrik Cassel which upset Rickon.
Season 2 Age 7
Osha took Rickon, Bran, Hodor and the boys’ direwolves away from Winterfell. They passed the shepherd’s cottage but Bran cautioned that they should not approach because it may put the family in danger. Osha then doubled back and hid them in the crypts below the castle.
Season 2 Age 7
Theon, unable to find Bran and Rickon did not want to lose face with his men so killed the two orphan boys and burnt their bodies then claimed they were the bodies of Bran and Rickon.
Season 2 Age 7
Ramsay Bolton, sent by Robb Stark to free Winterfell, killed many of Theon’s men and took Theon prisoner before leaving Winterfell in ruins. Osha, Rickon, Bran and Hodor left the crypt. They found Maester Luwin dying in the castle grounds. He told them to go north to Castle Black.
Season 3 Age 8
Jojen and Meera Reed found Rickon, Bran, Osha and Hodor and joined the group saying they had come to protect them.
Season 3 Age 8
Rickon Stark and the group of travellers sheltered in a mill during a thunderstorm. While there they heard a group of Wildlings chasing a northman. Bran used his warg powers to help fight off the Wildlings and also helped Jon Snow to escape.
Season 3 Age 8
Osha and Rickon left Bran, Hodor and the Reeds to travel to Jon Umber at Last Hearth. Rickon was very upset at being parted from his brother.
Season 6 Age 11
Rickon Stark and Osha were found by Ramsay Bolton and taken prisoner.
Season 6 Age 11
Ramsay Bolton sent word to Jon Snow and Sansa that he had Rickon prisoner and would release him if Sansa was returned. Sansa refused to return and declared war on Ramsay Bolton.
Season 6 Age 11
At the beginning of the Battle of the Bastards Ramsay Bolton brought Rickon out. He cut the ropes binding his hands and told him to run to Jon Snow. Rickon walked then ran towards Jon. Ramsay fired arrows at Rickon and just before he reached Jon Snow Ramsay shot an arrow that hit him in the back and killed him.
Season 6 Age 11
After the battle Rickon Stark was buried in the crypt at Winterfell.
