King Aegon II Timeline
Season 1 Age 0
King Aegon II, was born to King Viserys I and Alicent Hightower at Kings Landing.
Season 1 Age 2
King Viserys held a hunt meet to celebrate Prince Aegon’s second birthday.

Aegon’s sister Helaena was born to King Viserys and Alicent Hightower.
Season 1 Age 5
Aegon’s brother, Aemond was born to King Viserys and Alicent at Kings Landing.
Season 1 Age 12
Aegon was at the dragonpit where his cousin Jacaerys was learning to tame his dragon. Afterwards all the children taunted Prince Aemond, who does not have a dragon, by presenting him with a pig.

Prince Aegon who was masturbating when his mother stormed into his bedroom and chided him for not defending his younger brother against Rhaenyra’s children.

Aegon, Aemond, Lucerys (Luke) and Jaecaerys (Jace) were being trained in weapons use by Ser Criston Cole. Cole showed obvious favour to Alicent’s children. He was angry because Rhaenyra had dismissed any idea of marrying him wanting him as her lover.

Aegon, his siblings and parents went to Driftmark for the funeral of Laena.

Aegon and Aemond watched their sister Helaena looking at a spider. Aegon spoke of his dislike of his sibling but Aemond defended her saying that if he were betrothed to her he would keep their Targaryen line clean.

Aegon’s brother, Prince Aemond had claimed Rhaena’s dragon Vhaegar which had angered her daughters Baela and Rhaena. Jace and Luke Velaryon had supported their cousins and fought Aemond. In the melee, Aemond broke Luke’s nose and Luke slashed Aemond across the face causing him to lose an eye.
Season 1 Age 12
King Viserys called for calm and demanded to know why the fight had taken place. He was angry when he heard that Aemond had called Jace and Luke bastards and demanded to know who had given him this information. Aegon told his grandfather that it was common knowledge. Alicent demanded retribution and instructed Criston Cole to take Luke’s eye. Viserys refused such action. Alicent then grabbed a dagger and slashed Rhaenyra’s arm before storming off. Aemond told everyone that losing an eye was a fair exchange for gaining a dragon.

Aegon married his sister Helaena.
Season 1 Age 17
Twins Jaehaerys and Jaehaera were born to Prince Aegon and Princess Helaena.
Season 1 Age 18
After hearing that Corlys Velaryon had been badly injured in battle at Stepstones, those with a claim to Driftmark arrived in Kings Landing to petition the King.
Season 1 Age 18
The maid Dyana, complained to Alicent that Aegon had raped her. Alicent confronted Aegon who called the deed ‘a bit of fun’. He told his mother that he had not asked to be in the position he was in and that however hard he tried he would not be good enough for her.

Aegon was present in the hall to hear the petitions for Driftmark. Vaemond spoke first stating his claim on the grounds that Luke Velaryon was not of Velaryon blood. As Rhaenyra began her petition on behalf of her son, Viserys arrived. This shocked those present, especially Otto and Alicent. The King was very weak and feeble and barely able to walk unaided. However, once on the throne he said that Rhaenys was the only person present who had insight into Corlys’ wishes.
Season 1 Age 18
Rhaenys stepped forward to speak and told the assembly that Corlys had always wished for Luke to succeed him. She said she agreed and accepted Rhaenyra’s proposal for Luke and Jace to marry Baela and Rhaena. Vaemond was furious. He questioned Luke’s parentage and called Rhaenyra a whore. Viserys ordered his tongue be removed. Daemon stepped forward and decapitated Vaemond.
Season 1 Age 18
Aegon attended a celebratory meal requested by Viserys. Viserys told those present that they were the people he loved the most and asked them to be nice to each other. Aegon made snide digs at Jace asking if he needed lessons on how to consummate the marriage. He also virtually ignored his wife but was angry when Jace asked Helaena to dance. After Viserys became unwell and was taken away a fight broke out between Aegon, Aemond, Luke and Jace.
Season 1 Age 18
Aegon went into Kings Landing and was unaware that his grandfather had died and he was king. When he was found by Ser Erryk and Ser Arryk he angrily resisted saying he had no wish to be king.
Season 1 Age 18
As Ser Erryk marched him outside they met Criston Cole and Prince Aemond. Cole fought Erryk, Aegon broke free and tried to run but was caught by Aemond. Aegon was taken back to his mother and told that he was king.
Season 1 Age 18
Aegon was crowned King Aegon II. Although he did not want to be King he was happy when the people cheered for him. However, the celebration was interrupted by Rhaenys, riding her dragon, crashing through the building and landing in front of the Royal party. However, instead of burning them all, her dragon merely hisses at them before flying off.
