This timeline details the winners and runners up of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Darts Championship 1994 – Present Day

The PDC was formed in 1994 after a split between professional darts players within the British Darts Organisation (BDO). The BDO hosted the only World Championship from 1978 – 1994. From 1994 – 2020 both the BDO and PDC held World Darts Championships. In 2020 The BDO held its last World Championship.
