1997 (30th July)
Finneas Baird O’Connell was born to Patrick O’Connell and Maggie Baird in Los Angeles, California. His mother is an actress and screenwriter, his father an actor and musician. .
2001 (18th December)
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell was born to Patrick O’Connell and Maggie Baird in Los Angeles, California.
2002 (Autumn)
Finneas was home-schooled and began singing when he was young.
2006 (around)
O’Connell joined the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus.
2009 (during)
Finneas O’Connell, began writing and producing songs after attending a song writing class with his mother.

O’Connell appeared in the film Bad Teacher.

O’Connell began writing songs with his sister Billie. He also formed a band.

Finneas and his group took part in the Battle of the Bands and lost. While at the competition he met Darius Dudley, David Marinelli and Robby Fitzpatrick who were all members of other bands. They decided to form the group the Slightlys.

The Slightlys, took part in the Battle of the Bands and won first place. The prize was $1,200 and a place on the Warped Tour.
