V/H/S Movies In Order Of Release

The next time you’re digging around in your attic, think twice before unearthing your old VHS tapes if you aren’t sure what’s on them. Sure, they could be home videos of past birthday parties, vacations, and other enjoyable life events. But then again, they could contain scenes of unbearable horror, especially if they resemble anything like the found footage segments incorporated into the movies within the V/H/S franchise.

There are currently six movies within the series, each one centring around disturbing VHS tapes that are discovered by innocent viewers. Contributing to these are a wide range of directors who are well-known for their work in the horror genre, including Scott Derrickson (Sinister), Eduardo Sánchez (The Blair Witch Project), and Adam Wingard (You’re Next).

With tales involving zombies, doomsday cults, aliens, poltergeists, and more, there is something in these movies for every kind of horror fan. In this article, we rewind time and list all of the V/H/S movies in order of release date.
